Submission Deadline:March 15th, 2016 (The deadline is extended!!)

We are planning to publish focus issue for SmaSys2015 that is held as the International Conference of Smart Systems Engineering on October 8th – 9th, 2015 in Yonezawa, Japan.

All the participants for SmaSys2015, especially the students, are encouraged to submit a journal style paper in the focus issue.

We prepared the formatted MS Word file for the special issue.

The issue will be published as a special issue on Microsystem Technologies, which is a peer-reviewed journal from Springer Publishing. For details regarding Microsystem Technologies, please visit the following website.

Go to "Submit Online".
At the beginning of the submission, please register at "Register Now" to get Password. For the details, please consult "Author Tutorial" in "Submit Online".
You can select "S.I.:SmaSys 2015" when you login the site.

This publish plan is described briefly as follows:

1. A paper submitted to the special issue will be gone through a peer review process to determine whether the paper is suitable for publication.
2. An editing period: for about 3 months
3. A manuscript submission fee will be free.
4. Publication style: online e-journal
5. The Special Issue will contain about 20 papers (a maximum of about 25 papers is possible)
6. Paper submission period: February 15th, 2016.
7. Manuscript page length: minimum 4 pages, maximum 20 pages.

Schedules for the special issue for SmaSys2015:

Submission Open: October 1st, 2015
Submission Deadline: February 15th, 2016
Submission Deline: March 15th, 2016 (The deadline is extended!!)
Final Acceptance : May 30, 2016
